It is not often that I open up my blog to a recipe feature by none other than my husband, but today I am doing just that. Quite often I am the one who you will find cooking up a storm in the kitchen, but when it comes to breakfast my husband is the wizard.  Everything from over-easy eggs to crepes to lattes – you name it, he rocks it!

The one treat I have often looked forward to during the holiday season is Eggnog. However, dairy has really become a downfall for me as of late. Dairy consumption usually results in gut rot and severe GERD attacks. The kind of symptoms that just don’t make enjoying a dairy-filled festive favourite worth the price.

Dairy-Free Eggnog Recipe

My husband knew how bummed I was to be missing out on one of my favourite holiday drinks, so he took to the kitchen one morning to recreate a dairy-free version, and you know what – you can barely tell the difference!

This dairy-free eggnog recipe is a creamy, nourishing treat that will easily be an ongoing holiday favourite!

I was JUST thinking about making homemade eggnog! I looked at the ingredients of one we bought from the store and just thought, “I bet homemade egg nog would taste way better”!

I’m lactose intolerant so I get it. I can only drink barely a quarter of a cup of eggnog or I suffer greatly. I’d love to try this recipe, thanks!
