Disclosure: I received the November Namast’eh Box for review purposes. No other compensation was received. All opinions are those of my own.
I have to come clean. I have an addiction. An addiction to all things fitness. In particular, active wear.
I cannot even beginning to tell you how many leggings, sports bras and tanks I have bought in the past year. Honestly, it is getting out of hand. My closet is busting at the seems, and I am fairly certain my husband may pose an intervention soon.
So when I discovered a great new subscription box service that delivers 2-3 premium yoga and athletic wear pieces to your door each month, I was sold. I needed to break my habit of shopping the same stores at the mall, and delve into the world of discovering Canadian made yoga and athletic wear. You know the kind of athletic wear that has been produced using beautiful fabrics, designs and quality workmanship. The kind of active wear that you know is going to last you more than a few months or washes even.
That’s exactly the kind of service that Namast’eh Box offers and how it came to be in essence. Founder and owner, Kristal Kennedy, wanted Canadian fitness lovers to be able to discover amazing yoga brands that were built right in this beautiful country that we call home.
I first came to hear of Namast’eh while browsing Instagram, and I followed along on their journey as they prepared for launch in October 2017. The moment I saw the October box and learned more about Namast’eh, I knew I had to collaborate with Kristal. I’m happy she was on-board!
The November box featured an amazing Canadian brand, Chikum.
Chikum is Canadian owned and operated, producing their advanced athletic wear in Vancouver, BC.
Upon opening my November box it became quickly evident that Chikum is a brand that really focuses on designing clothes that can be worn in the studio and gym, but also on-the-go. Athletic wear that can be also worn as chic lounge wear around the house is 100% my jam.
The Chikum products that I received in my November box were: the Stoka Pants, a Pris Top and Diamond Tank. All these products carry a total retail value of approximately $150. So you could say that being able to receive quality athletic wear monthly from Namast’eh for only $79 is quite the steal. You are literally saving 50% off the retail price!
I absolutely loved all of the items I received. The Stoka pants were so light weight that you could almost forget that your were wearing them. My only qualm was that I should have sized down, as I did find myself having to pull them up a fair bit during my high impact cardio work. The Pris Top and Diamond Tank I found fit true to size and comfortably!
I love that the Namast’eh Box takes people out of the mall and helps them discover yoga and athletic brands from unique Canadian businesses that they may have otherwise never heard of. They have made a true customer out of this active wear obsessed Momma!
