School has now been back in session for two months, and most of us have settled back into new routines.With those new routines bestows lot of busy-ness. Between the work, school runs, extra-curricular activities, the holidays, purging the house and preparing for the Fall / Winter months ahead – it can be so easy to put our own health on the back burner.
It is a time of year when we tend to be so focused on fulfilling our own personal commitments that we let our focus on our health slide. I know – I am guilty of it. Heck – there are days when 2PM hits and I realize I haven’t even stopped for breakfast. BREAKFAST!
This is why I have made it a priority to take a moment to stop and exhale while enjoying my favourite Salted Caramel Shake; a shake that’s chock full of nutrient dense ingredients. Nothing beats my daily me-time, the youngsters nap and I can just enjoy being in the moment, showing appreciation to my own body. Oh and the silence! The silence during nap time sure is glorious, isn’t it?!?
If you haven’t taken a moment to stop exhale lately, make it a priority tomorrow! Your mind and body will thank you, especially if you have a Salted Caramel Shake in hand when you do.
Salted Caramel Shake Recipe
- 2 scoops Orange Naturals ND Shake Women – Chocolate
- 1.5 cups water
- 1/2 tbsp caramel extract
- 1/8 tsp sea salt or pink Himalayan salt
- Add all ingredients to a powerful blender. Blend until ingredients are well blended and frothy.
