Something I have always found to be a struggle during pregnancy was the ability to get my hands on well-made maternity and nursing wear.

During my pregnancy with Everly, I often did a lot of my shopping for my wardrobe essentials at Target, but being that they are no longer in Canada my options this pregnancy were quite limited.

I would often flock to online boutiques to find nice maternity wear. However being that this is my last pregnancy, I also wanted to purchase pieces that would not only be suitable to be worn during pregnancy, but post-pregnancy, during the nursing stage and beyond.

One of my favourite online maternity boutiques is Figure 8 Maternity. This boutique is based out the the US, but ships to Canada, which of course I love! Not only that they sell brands that I also know and love, like Bravado Designs. Pretty awesome, right?! I think so!

With their new Spring line ready for release soon, I took the opportunity to reach out to Figure 8 Maternity to see if I could review some outfits from their new line, and I was so happy when they agreed.

The items arrived just in time for my birthday, which I used as the perfect occasion to put the new outfits to the test.

My favourite new outfit is the Stella Woven Nursing Dress.

Isn’t the colour phenomenal?!? It get me excited for the Spring weather to arrive!

What I love about this dress is that you can wear it during pregnancy, as well as wear it post-pregnancy.

You may not believe it, but the dress also provides nursing access if need be. The pleats actually hide a zipper that provides you access should you need to nurse your little one. Pretty genius, right?! My Mom couldn’t believe it when I told her the dress could be used while breastfeeding because you wouldn’t be able to tell just by looking at it!

The dress also comes with a cute gold belt that you can either choose to wear or not, the option is yours. Personally, I prefer to wear the belt to make the dress a little more like a maxi.

If you are a nursing Mom, you may also which to check out these Lacy Lucy Nursing Pads. Being a Mom who has breastfed on numerous occasions, I can appreciate how hard it can be to find a nursing pad that provides coverage while also being super absorbent. For this reason, I cannot wait to try out these Lacy Lucy Nursing Pads when my little man arrives.
