November will mark 6 years since I found out I was expecting my first child. How crazy is that? Time has surely flown, and I doubt that it will be slowing down anytime soon.

When I began this journey into motherhood I remember being overwhelmed by all the decisions I had to make about not only parenting choices, but also the products and baby essentials to purchase.

When I planned my baby shower, I had only two big box stores to decide between when putting together a registry. Most of my baby shower attendees actually admitted to shopping my baby registry, and then heading over to Walmart to purchase the essentials I had wanted. Simply for the fact that Walmart was more convenient, and a heck of a lot cheaper.

If I could have just held out until now to have a baby shower, my shower guests would have been appeased!

Walmart Canada, Canada’s number one retail banner for infant care, announced today the official launch of its new baby registry on to help Canadians get ready for a new baby on the way. The registry offers many other benefits to new and expecting parents, including:

Although my days of needing a baby registry are behind me, I cannot even begin to tell you how tempted I am to put a registry together to highlight essentials that my children could use over the holidays. I just love how gift registries take the guesswork out of buying gifts.

Are you an expectant Mom? What are some of the top must-have essential baby items on your baby registry?
