Recently, I had the privilege of reviewing a Maternity (Non-Nursing) Tank from Glamourmom.

“Glamourmom came to life  in 2000, shortly  after founder, Line Rothman, gave birth to her first daughter.

After the birth of her first daughter, Line had desperately searched for a nursing top that provided full support and easy breast access, while keeping her post-partum belly covered. A search that left Line empty-handed and frustrated.

Line took it upon herself to design what did not yet exist, a tank top with a unique full support built-in nursing bra.

Since then, Glamourmom has evolved into an internationally loved brand. Our expanding collection is designed exclusively with moms and moms-to-be in mind with the idea that every woman deserves to be a Glamourmom! “

I have maternity tanks from previous pregnancies stockpiled in storage. However, I haven’t been compelled to wear them this time around. Why? They just don’t offer support. They aren’t form fitting. They leave me feeling frumpy.

I have yet to experience that with the Glamourmom Maternity Tank. The Glamourmom Maternity Tank is a non-nursing tank. It features a built-in bra to help provide optimal support. The tank has rouching on each side, which makes it easy for the tank to stretch and adapt with your baby bump. As well, the tank features adjustable straps.

I have used my tank as a layering piece in my day-to-day outfits.

I find the built-in bra provides great support, but if I’m out and about I will sometimes throw on a bra just for a little extra padding and coverage.

Wearing a bra under this maternity bra tank is definitely not a requirement though. The whole idea behind the bra tank is comfort, and having the ability to avoid that unwanted bra strap exposure.

The maternity bra tank is machine washable. My tank has been through numerous cycles in my high efficiency washer and dryer. It has continued to hold up really well. The tank has maintained it’s form, hasn’t shrunk and the threading has held together well. It truly proves the quality behind the design.

I’m now just shy of 18 weeks pregnant, and over the past few weeks my pregnancy belly has popped. The shirt has adapted with my ever-growing pregnancy belly. While the tank may not be long, I don’t find it has crept up any. I guess the true test will be when I reach the third trimester. So far though the tank top has provided full coverage.

Glamourmom also features many other great products including lounge pants, a nursing bra dress, a nursing nightgown and various nursing bras and tanks.  If you are pregnant, nursing or shopping around for the perfect baby shower gift don’t hesitate to check out the Glamourmom product line.

Disclosure: I received a maternity bra tank from Glamourmom in exchange for my review. No other compensation was received. All opinions are those of my own.
