Something I refuse to do during this pregnancy is drop a fortune on maternity clothes. The only problem with my logic is that  given my weight loss since my pregnancy with my son none of my maternity clothes that were once packed away into storage fit. Not the biggest dilemma when you really look at the big picture.

My quest to finding affordable, yet stylish maternity clothes found me searching good ol’ Google. This time not to self diagnose myself with something, but rather for online retail therapy if you will. A little window (er… browser) shopping can make an excellent stress reliever!

This is how I came to find Pink Blush Maternity.

The first thing I noticed upon clicking through the Pink Blush Maternity collection was that all of the maternity clothing featured are fashionable. You know how sometimes when you look at maternity clothing everything just looks unflattering and just… well… boring?  I never felt that once while looking at the Pink Blush Maternity line.

In fact the second thing I noticed was the wicked sale prices. It seemed to me that each piece was markdown incrementally. It made it so hard for me to narrow down which piece I wanted to review. I wound up picking out the shirt (pictured below).

Red Black Print Belted Maternity Top (Regular price $53.99 - Sale price $31.99)
Red Black Print Belted Maternity Top (Regular price $53.99 – Sale price $31.99)

The red black print belted maternity top fit like a glove. The belt sits just above the belly, so it didn’t obstruct your breathing or leave you feeling uncomfortable. In fact, I wore this outfit to the apple orchard. That should say something. It may be dressy, but it is a very casual and comfortable top. It is one of those shirts that while is form fitting, it can easily adapt and expand with your baby bump as the pregnancy progresses.

The shirt held together very well after being put through the laundry. The threads didn’t pull. The fabric didn’t ball. It came out looking as good as when it went in! The quality of the top is outstanding.

There was really nothing that I didn’t love about this shirt from Pink Blush Maternity. Honestly, I think this shirt would pass off really well post-pregnancy too. It may sit a bit longer, but with a pair of leggings. It would make a fashionable outfit. I have found the same with the majority of the shirts listed on the Pink Blush Maternity website. It’s almost definite that you will get a lot of wear out of your shirt should you purchase one. Randa from Bewitchin’ Kitchen is proof of that!
