Usually each Friday I share with you some awesome recipes that I have come across recently. This past Friday came and went, and I never got around to sharing my finds for that week. So I decided to tie it in with my weekly meal plan post.

On the meal plan this week, we have:

  • Crock Pot Mac & Cheese
  • Pulled Pork & Ribs (Our town’s annual rib fest this upcoming weekend)
  • Beef Enchilada Skillet
  • Southwest Ground Beef & Pasta Skillet
  • Tacos
Some other meals that I would love to add to my recipe roster include:
Roasted Vegetable Lasagne from Ottawa Valley Moms. This meal sounds like a healthy variation to a traditional lasagne. It is also fairly easy to prepare, and I’m sure if would make a great freezer meal!
Burgers are one of my comfort foods. I love them all… Veggie, chicken, beef, turkey. As long as it is a burger, I’m sure you can swing it by me and I’ll devour every last morsel of it.
Doesn’t this turkey burger from Life in Pleasantville just look drool worthy?!? It could easily be paired with a side of Bit of Momsense’s Orange Coconut Jasmine Rice, and washed down with a glass of homemade ice tea.

    I love veggie lasagna’s and Ottawa Mommy’s looks so good (and good for you)!
