It’s Valentine’s Day! How are will you be celebrating this love infused day?
For my husband and I, Valentine’s Day is like any ordinary day. We don’t need a special occasion to express our love for one another. Every day is a good day to celebrate our love. However, today my husband surprised me and locked down a babysitter. My good ol’ Mother-in-law. Yep. My Mother-in-law will be coming to the rescue tonight and looking after our little snuggle bugs, so that my husband and I can enjoy a night on the town. I honestly can’t even remember the last time we went out on Valentine’s Day. It must be well over 6 years ago. Before we got married. I can’t wait!
In the meantime, I’ve set up a little Valentine’s Day treat for my kids. My daughter has a Valentine’s Day party with her preschool class today, so after school she will get to come home and continue the party. I’ve put together a few small gifts for Mr. C and Little Miss C. The gift is simply some Little People, new bedtime story books to add to the pre-existing selection and a small treat. After we open the gifts, we will snuggle up to watch the all too cute Madly Madagascar.
If you haven’t seen this movie yet, I suggest you head out to the store and pick it up!! Your kids will adore it. The movie is the perfect length for little munchkins who have a short attention span. No longer than 30 minutes. It’s a guaranteed flick that will have your children in the giggles. We love it!
To learn more about Madly Madagascar, check out my other post regarding it’s release on January 29, 2013!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
