I’m going to keep this post short and just say that my family and I are chili lovers. We eat it often. Given that we like to mix it up. We don’t want to grow bored of consuming the same old chili time and time again, so we constantly are experimenting with new ingredients.

Here is the latest chili that we have added to our roster…

Beef & 3-Bean Chili
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 can tomato juice
1 tall can of your favorite tomato sauce
1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15 ounce) can white kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup frozen corn (optional)
1 large onion, chopped
1 chopped green bell pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/4 cup chili powder

Brown the beef on the stove top and drain off the fat.

In a slow cooker combine all the ingredients. Mix well and cook on low for 8 hours.
