Last year, I read a quote on Yummy Mummy Club’s Facebook Page. This quote stuck with me…

“A Veteran is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank cheque payable to their country for an amount up to and including their life. That is beyond honour and there are way too many people in this country who no longer remember that fact. Remember to take a moment of silence today at 11:00am to honour our soldiers and their families.”

It’s Remembrance Day. Take a moment today to pause, reflect and honour our veterans and soldiers who have fought for our freedom and continue to fight for us. Appreciate their sacrifices. Look around at your family and smile. Things could be so much different. Be grateful to have no worries. Be thankful. Always remember all those brave men and women that have put their lives on the line for our freedom, past and present. Never forget.
