Motherhood is beautiful. Nothing is more joyful than watching your child grow and reach all sorts of new milestones. Sure… you may wish you could freeze time… but at the same time you’re stoked to see your little wonder embarking on their life journey with you as their role model. After all, who do you think taught them their first words, how to walk and introduced them their first foods. You did!

Think back to the moment when you first started introducing foods to your child? Do you remember what you reached for?

The first snack idea that comes to my mind is – Cheerios. I remember vividly giving my children their first cheerios. It’s such a healthy and easy snack… And let’s face it, I always have a box of Cheerios in my pantry.

Both my children are finicky eaters. In the moments of despair with my reluctant eaters… I always know I can give them a bowl of Cheerios and it’d be guaranteed that at the very least that they’d willingly consume them. The most important thing to me is keeping their bellies full!

Does your child love Cheerios? Celebrate your child’s first Cheerios moment and hop on over to the Life Made Delicious Facebook Fan Page to share a picture of them enjoying their first Cheerios. Small cereal, big moment! The first 1,000 participants will receive a coupon for a FREE box of yummy Cheerios, with a $1.00 off coupon for everyone after the first thousand who submit a photo!  (Legal details: Limit of one (1) Free Box of Cheerios coupon per household, and one (1) $1.00 Off Coupon per household per calendar year.)

PLUS you could potentially see your baby on a box of Cheerios! Watch the shelves in Spring 2013, when General Mills will be unveiling the completed mosaic on limited-edition family-sized (400g) boxes of Cheerios!

Disclosure – I am participating in the First Cheerios Blog Tour by Mom Central Canada on behalf of General Mills. I received compensation as a thank you for participating and for sharing my honest opinion. The opinions on this blog are my own
