I love to start my mornings off on a happy note. Who doesn`t?! I’ve never been a huge lover of breakfast, but I know it’s important in getting a healthy, energizing start each day. Breakfast is what really sets the motion for our day. It gives us the fuel to push through.
I may not be a lover of breakfast, but one thing I do love is a delicious, ice cold and frosty smoothie! What could be better?! It’s packed full of healthy ingredients. It’s simple to prepare and perfect for those who need to “eat” on the run.
Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie
1 cup ice
1/2 cup sliced strawberries
1/2 cup quick oats
1/2 cup low fat vanilla yogurt
1 cup coconut water (sometimes I’ll use apple juice)
Add ice, berries and banana to the blender first. Follow with remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
