You know that feeling when you could swear that you’ve done something, but in the end it seems you never did? Well… I could have sworn that I shared this recipe on my blog before. I searched endlessly through archived posts and pulled up nothing. Strange!

Either way… I’m sharing the recipe with you now. That’s all that matters!

This meal is another quick and easy meal. You can add in essentially any veggies that tickle your fancy… just make sure they’re easy to saute. My family simply prefers to stick to bell peppers, onion, garlic and mushrooms. Zucchini would be a nice addition too!

Oh and I apologize in advance for my crappy pics of this meal. All I had near me at the time was my cell phone. Total rarity!

3-4 Italian Sausage

1 sweet onion (diced)

1 sweet red bell pepper (diced)
2 cloves of minced garlic
1/2 pack of sliced mushrooms (halved or quartered) (optional)
3 cups of uncooked Fusilli Pasta

1 package of Parma Rosa KNORR pasta sauce (dry package in seasoning section)
1 & 1/2 cup of milk
1 tbsp of butter
Remove Italian sausage from it’s casings. Break apart with fork or spatula in a pan. Brown and drain off fat. Add in a tbsp of EVOO and the vegetables.  Sauté. While the veggies are sautéing, boil your pasta until al dente… as well… begin to prepare the Knorr Parma Rosa sauce according to the directions on the packet.

Once the pasta is cooked, drain and add to the pan with the sausage and vegetables. Pour in the sauce. Mix well. Let stand 5 minutes prior to serving.

Happy eating!
