Impromptu dance parties are the happening thing in our house. We spend most of our day dancing around without a care in the world to a mixture of top 40 music and children’s artists. It’s so much fun to watch my children just let their guard down, have fun and be free. Dancing in their eyes is essentially running laps around the living room, squealing…. whatever makes them happy, right?! That’s what matters!
When I came across an opportunity to review Moey’s Music Party Princess Revolution! I couldn’t pass it up.
Princess Revolution! is a girl-power concept album that celebrates the exuberant, can-do spirit inherent in all girls. Princess Revolution! includes modern musical re-tellings of classic fairy tales, such as “Sleeping Beauty,” “The Princess and the Pea,” and “Snow White.” The original songs promote confidence, leadership, and joyful self-expression.
Princess Revolution! is set for release on April 24 on iTunes, CDBaby and Amazon. However fans are able to download a free copy of the single Princess Revolution by visiting http://tinyurl.com/
“My goal is to entertain kids while empowering them with the message that princesses don’t have to be helpless maidens. Instead, they can choose to be helpful heroines who can wake themselves with their own magical kisses, slay a dragon and even rescue a prince!” says Moey, a.k.a. Melissa Levis, lead singer and songwriter of Moey’s Music Party.
Moey surely succeeded. My fairy tale loving daughter enjoyed rocking out in her tutu and tiara to this album, and your child can too!
