With 6 days until Christmas… I’m going to be taking a wee bit of a menu planning hiatus between now and the new year. I can already tell you that with the hecticness of the season… I know full well that I’m going to fall off the bandwagon. I plan to remain accountable. I just don’t plan to have a set in stone menu plan tying me down. It’s just too much to follow a menu plan, bake and try to make sure the house is in tip top shape for all the visitors that will be popping by.
Last night I whipped up a homemade spaghetti sauce. I have it simmering in the crock pot as we speak. I made a double batch so that I could use some for tonight’s dinner and freeze the rest. This week, I will also be making Buffalo Chicken Penne. A household favorite! If you haven’t tried it, you should!
