Over the past two years life has changed in so many different ways. There have been many highs and a few lows.

I became a Mom. My first born was born in 2009. It’s a moment I’ll never forget. One of the happiest days of my life. My son was born very quickly after in 2011.

I made the choice to be a stay-at-home Mom. I’m very career driven. It was hard for me to walk away from my job. At the time it felt like the right thing. I love being able to stay home with my children and watching them reach their milestones as they happen. That being said I still apply for jobs that I feel passionately about. If I were to land a position that I absolutely loved… I would return to work in a heartbeat.

I brought a chapter of momstown to Whitby-Ajax for a year.

I enrolled in continuing education courses at the local college. I love school. I love building on my current credentials and acquiring new skills. I’m grateful that I have the means to further my education.

I suffered a traumatizing miscarriage at 10 weeks in March 2010. Nuff said.

I bought a new car. My husband will tell you that it is his car, but really it is mine!

I bought a lot in a new housing development. It’s so exciting to build a home from the ground up. Our house should be ready in July 2012. So excited!!

It’s been a great two years!!
