Your baby is growing like mad, putting on about a millimeter every day and continuing to straighten out in the trunk. Though you can’t feel it yet, baby is moving those little arms, legs and (now only slightly) webbed fingers and toes like crazy.
Feeling: Very tired, bloated, gassy and nauseous. I also have an external hemorrhoid… 🙁
Sick: I started taking Diclectin this week to ease my nausea.
Cravings: Pizza, berries, melons, chips.
Wishing for: A successful, healthy pregnancy.
Looking Forward To: The first trimester being over. 4 more weeks to go.
Reading: Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyers.
Favourite clothes right now: Still fitting into my regular everyday clothes. Although with my bloat, I kind of just want to pull out my mat clothes right now.
I had a bleeding incident last Sunday. It made me really worried. I honestly began to fear the worst. Turns out the bleeding was caused by an external hemorrhoid. I had never experienced hemorrhoids when I was pregnant with C… so it was all new to me. Definitely very painful.
On Tuesday I went for my ultrasound. I was so worried that I was going to have to have a trans-vaginal ultrasound because I couldn’t keep my water down. Thankfully I didn’t need one. The ultrasound tech I had was amazing. He understood that I was very worried because of my miscarriage in March, so he let me watch the whole ultrasound and talked to me the whole way through. I burst into tears the moment he showed me the fluttering heartbeat. There’s really a baby in my belly!
