Got any plans for the weekend? If you don’t and you reside in the Toronto – you may want to take to the streets from sunrise to sunset to experience the city transformed by artists.
That’s right the 12th annual Nuit Blanche is set to take Toronto by storm on September 30th. A night of art that Netflix is so excited to be participating in,
Netflix is inviting event goers to discover a world within a world inside The Red Forest. This interactive activation brings the discoverability of Netflix and fan favourite show to life in a forest full of endless possibilities.
Wearing a provided hazmat suit, guests enter The Red Forest to a gooey, creepy avant-garde reimagination of the Upside Down from Stranger Things. From there guests move through portals in the forest where they’ll discover areas of mystical foliage reminiscent of the Blossom Maple Farm from Riverdale, trees with bikes growing out of them from Stranger Things and a reactive Orc tree conceptualized based on the upcoming Netflix original film Bright.
Once guests are done exploring the forest, they will find themselves in a version of the Twilight Drive-In from Riverdale, where they can sit in the cars, charge their devices or check out what’s playing on the screen.
A Must-See One Night Event!
Want to check out this beautiful display for yourself and snap some stunning photos of the activation? You can! The #NetflixRedForest is located on the walking path between University Avenue and Osgoode Lane (*under the Court House / Osgoode Rotunda).
This is a must-see event that will only be around for one night! Don’t miss out – plan a date with your spouse or a group of friends, and be prepared to be mesmerized!
