Summer is just around the corner. Making now a better time than ever to start planning for the all of the delicious food and drink that the summer brings with it.
However, with the Summer also comes all the messes that can accompany preparing food and drinks. Not only that, but the messes that your kids can find themselves creating by playing outdoors or indulging in treats, like ice cream or popsicles.
Don’t fear the messes though! There are many ways to target and fight the stains that Summer brings with it.
Tide Ultra Stain Release being one of those stain fighting agents that my family knows well, and loves. Tide Ultra Stain Release helps fight up to 99% of everyday stains and is designed with 6x the stain fighting power when compared to the next leading competitor.
What I love about Tide Ultra Stain Release is that it comes with a ZapCap; a cap that can be used to pre-treat clothing stains with detergent enhancing the stain removal process.
So if you find yourself in a pinch this Summer, and need to remove something, like Popsicle persay. Simply start by using a wet cloth to blot the fabric to dilute the stain. You can then follow-up by pre-treating the stain using Tide Ultra Stain Release and the ZapCap. After completing the pre-treatment wash your clothing as you normal would using warm water on your regular wash cycle.
You can also remove old set-in stains, like foundation, by blotting the old stain with a cotton ball soaked in hydrogen peroxide. Let the fabric dilute for several minutes. Rinse and repeat the first step. Rinse again after a few minutes. Proceed to use he ZapCap and Tide Ultra Stain Release to pretreat the stain. Let set for 10 minutes and proceed to wash the garment using warm water on your regular wash cycle. I have done this to save one of my favourite tops that I hadn’t been able to wear in years! It worked like a charm.
