If there is one thing I have noticed since the birth of my fourth child, it is that my immune system is clearly struggling. I am mostly to blame for that.
You see during my pregnancy I maintained a healthy lifestyle. I was active, and had a well-balanced diet full of wholesome nutritious foods. As soon as Oakley was born, and I began breastfeeding again my eating habits quickly took a turn for the worse. Some days I would find myself not eating and being too consumed with being a new Mom. Other days my body would be craving all the things, but not the foods that you would want to fill your body up with necessarily… You know things like chips, cookies, and chocolate.
I took to binge dieting on all the junk food. With that I found myself feeling more fatigued and moody. Not only that I have been catching cold after cold. Which I mean who wants to be sick? It is never pleasant, especially when you have a new baby.
In hopes to get myself back on track, I have been trying to curb my cravings for junk food with healthier options. One of my easiest ways to do that through juicing. It is a way for me to ensure that my body is getting ample amounts of fruits and vegetables while also reaping the benefits of the antioxidants, essential nutrients and vitamins.
A juice that has been in regular rotation lately is my Immune Boosting Juice. It is packed full of Vitamin C , beta carotene and all the other essential nutrients and vitamins needed to help boost my body’s immune system.
