Sometimes there are things in life that I don’t enjoy discussing. The all too normal things that come with being a woman. You all know what I am talking about… the dreaded period (and I don’t mind the punctuation kind).

I can still vividly remember sitting in my grade 10 math class. It was a hot, humid day. I was moody, overrun with cramps and wanted to be anywhere but at school. Rather I would have done anything to be curled up at home in bed. I had to ask the teacher a question about one of the problems in the textbook, and upon walking up to his desk I noticed my pants felt wet. Not a little wet, but very wet. I quickly felt the back of my jeans and looked at my hand. As my luck would have it my pad had burst in the middle of my math class. Thankfully I had a hoody to tie around my waist until I could make my way home to change, but man was I ever embarrassed.

Since that day I have always been very mindful with the brands of pads I purchase. I have a few favourites I reach for when that monthly visitor arrives. Stayfree being one of them.

Did you know that Stayfree Ultra Thin Pads are made with Thermacontrol technology and Flexible-Fit design? They are! This unique combination works together to move with your body throughout the day, ensuring that your pads stay dry and you have the ultimate experience of protection and comfort.

To ensure that Stayfree Ultra Thin Pads are as up to snuff as they claim, I took the Stayfree Challenge just to see how they stack up against some leading competitors.

To start I placed a placement sheet on a flat surface.

I then lined the placement sheet with the Stayfree Ultra Thin Pad and two competitive brands.

Once the pads were all affixed, I poured 5ml of liquid in the centre of each pad.

I let the blue liquid absorb for 30 seconds, and then placed a blotting sheet on the centre of each pad.

Once the blotting sheets were in place, I placed a 5lb weight on the top of the blotting sheet on each pad.

The weights remained in place for 5 seconds before being removed.

Once removing the weights, the results were apparent.

Stayfree Ultra Thin Pads really do stack up the way the brand claims they do! Hence, why they are one of the brands I commonly reach for when the situation arises.

Feel free to watch this video to see how the challenge all works:

Will this make you consider switching to Stayfree Ultra Thin Pads?
