Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Do you celebrate it?

My husband and I have never been big on Valentine’s Day. There is no need to dedicate a special Hallmark day to celebrate our love. We find little ways to express our love and gratitude to each other daily. That being said, I know how special Valentine’s Day is to my children, especially my 5 year old daughter.

My daughter visited the store weeks ago, and picked out the perfect Valentine’s that she can’t wait to hand out to her class. She bought the cutest pink dress to where to her school Valentine’s Day party. My kids even participated in a fun Valentine’s Day mini photo shoot with a local photographer. Valentine’s Day is such a fun time for the little ones, and I love sharing in their excitement.

If you happen to celebrate Valentine’s Day, this year consider giving a gift that will warm the heart of that special someone:  a favourite photo transformed into a one-of-a kind piece of art.

Posterjack has put together a list of Valentine’s themed photo ideas to get you inspired:

1. Your love song – Posterjack’s collage maker allows you to layer the lyrics to your love song over a Canvas Print of your sweetheart.
2. The other loves of your life – show your l’il cupid how much you love them a Framed  smooch covered photo.
3.  A romantic getaway – get transported back to the spot that holds a special place in your heart with a landscape Acrylic Print.
4. Kids at heart – show off your playful side with fun props like heart cutouts, red and white balloons or red hot lips.

I wound up taking the photos from my children’s Valentine’s Day mini shoot, and having them put on frameless wall mounts. I cannot wait to display them in my family room.
