Christmas is just around the corner, and everyone in my family is constantly checking in to see what our little munchkins would love for the holidays. Each time I hear the ping of my cell phone, I can bet my bottom dollar that it is another one of the grandparents touching base to see if we have narrowed down any new gift ideas that they can possibly spoil the kids.
Cadence and Cameron are now at the age where they have been quite vocal about their Christmas wishlist. It’s coming up with gift ideas for Everly that I have struggled with.
What do you get a baby who has everything?
Everly has had a good majority of Cadence and Cameron’s infant toys passed down to her. The same can be said about clothes.
The one thing Everly hadn’t managed to get her little fingers on until recently was the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium.
My 3 year old son had one as an infant, and still uses it to this day. I thought for sure over time he would outgrow it, and I could pass it on to Everly. Obviously not.
I can see why he has grown to really love the Ocean Wonders Aquarium though. It’s very calming. I could easily find myself just sitting in the glider in the nursery listening to the classic music after a long day with the kids. The medleys are soul soothing. If it has this effect one me, imagine the effects it has on an infant.
The Ocean Wonders Aquarium eliminates the need to have a mobile. It helps baby learn to self soothe. Between the calming music, serene aquatic sounds, soft lights & gentle motion, there is no doubt that the Ocean Wonders Aquarium can help lull a baby to sleep.
The classical music plays for up to 18 minutes, and you can easily turn the aquarium back on with a push of a button on the remote, eliminating the need for you to disturb baby. I absolutely love the remote feature, as Everly is the type of baby who immediately wants picked up if she sees me pop into her room when she is trying to fall asleep.
The Ocean Wonders Aquarium is not only great for soothing baby to sleep, but it is great for keeping the baby occupied when you need to quickly switch the laundry or knock another household to-do off the list.
Everly is easily mesmerized by the mama and baby fish swimming while the seaweed sways and bubbles bounce. The Ocean Wonders Aquarium stimulates her senses while she also learns through discovery.
If you have a baby on your wishlist this holiday season, I highly recommend checking out the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium.
