When I went into 2014, I told my husband that this would be the year of opportunity. I had just attended Blissdom Canada ’13 in the months prior and I was feeling more motivated than ever.
2014 started off with me having the opportunity to take part in a live on-air TV Segment with Rogers TV Durham and Erica Ehm.
A month later followed the opportunity of giving birth to my daughter in the comfort of our home and having it documented by the wonderful, Born by Calla Evans Photography.
Very recently I also had the opportunity to attend the Katy Perry concert. Thanks to CoverGirl and Citizen Relations!
Call it the luck of the draw. Call it what you will, but I would be lying if I said 2014 wasn’t shaping up to be a great year. It certainly has the potential to be one of the best yet!
You may have noticed that the blog has been a little quieter over the past week. I have been so consumed with working on social media campaigns and with some of my clients as of late that I decided to take some time off to enjoy a bit of what Summer has to offer with my children before they head back to school in a few short weeks.
This week I embark on my latest adventure of heading up the social media community management for one of my favourite children’s active wear brands, Jack and Jill Kids. You may recall some of the reviews I have posted for them in the past year! I am very excited to be seizing this opportunity and establishing a voice for the brand.
Jack and Jill Kids understands the importance of healthy, active and confident kids. They encourage children of all ages to be bold, be active and be themselves! Jack and Jill Kids and Jill Yoga are proud partners of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada and their Go Girls! initiative. Go Girls! is a group mentoring program for girls 12-14 that focuses on physical activity, balanced eating and self-esteem. The single, most important goal of the program is to positively shape the lives of young women and girls by helping them build a positive self-image- setting them on a path to reach their full potential in life. A part of all proceeds from Jack and Jill Kids is donated to Go Girls!
I am thrilled to be associated with this amazing brand. I love them. My kids love them, and I am sure you will too!
So, my dear readers, I can guarantee you that there is a lot of exciting things in the works. Make sure you follow Jack and Jill Kids on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest, so you don’t miss a thing!
Hopefully I’ll see you on the flip side!
