When I entered the world of motherhood, I knew my life would change drastically. As not only I would have to take care of myself, but also another little being. Little did I understand before coming a Mother how much I would put myself on my back burner. Not intentionally. Simply because the days seemed to blurred by as I found myself caught up in nurturing my newborn and bonding with her.
This has happened more often than not since welcoming my third child 12 weeks ago.
Between the mad rush of trying to get the kids ready and off to school each day while also staying on schedule with my daughters breastfeeding schedule, it has been a journey to say the least. A journey that has seen me skipping meals and sometimes has left me feeling slightly frazzled.
Every Mom needs to ensure they stay on top of their health in order to optimally provide for their family. Skipping meals, lack of sleep and stress is going to do nothing more for a Mom than beat her down both mentally and physically. Did you also know that combination can lower the supply of a breastfeeding mother too? Really what good does that do anyone?!?
Shortly after giving birth to Everly, I learned of a great product for new mother’s while perusing one of my favourite blogs – One Heart, One Family.
Now For Mothers Healing Mix
Now For Mothers Healing Mix is all natural and organic, and is the first and only product of it’s kind on the market that focuses on helping mothers heal, rejuvenate and get well after giving birth.
The Healing Mix is a recipe is on that is derived from eastern traditions. It features a blend of Flax, Oats, Almonds, Honey, Cinnamon, Wheat, Butter, Walnuts, Pistachios, Brown Sugar, Raisins, Pine Nuts, and Melon Seeds. The combination of the ingredients mitigates any negatives effects of any particular ingredient and in turn brings out the qualities of the ingredients which promote wellness for mothers, as well as provides them with increased natural energy.
This great tasting blend provides a great resource of Omega 3’s and Vitamin C. Nutrients that are needed to help regulate hormones, aid in a mother’s lactation, and improving cognitive function while also boosting immunity and increasing metabolism.
I started including the Healing Mix in my daily food regime just over a week and a half ago. Since taking the healing mix, I have found that I have been satiated longer, my energy levels have increased and have been a lot calmer. This has allowed me the opportunity to tackle more things around the house. You know all those things that once felt like a chore. Ahem – like – squeezing in a quick 20 minute workout while my 12 week old naps.
I have also found that my mental clarity has improved, which would be as a result of the healing mix replenishing my glycogen levels.
One of my favourite ways to enjoy the healing mix is by adding it to my smoothies. Something I tend to enjoy as a daily breakfast and snack. Let’s face it – as a “new” Mom – I need a meal that is quick, nutritious and easy to throw together in a matter of minutes. A smoothie which incorporate Now For Mothers Healing Mix offers just that.
