My children have vivid imaginations. What child doesn’t?!?

One of their favourite games to play together is princesses, monsters and superheroes. Some how I always end up playing the role of the monster. Perhaps my children are trying to insinuate something! Regardless… this game is a lot of fun!

On this particular occasion... We were playing princess, prince and the monster. Here: the princess is ordering the monster to return to OZ with the snow Queen, and release the prince.

It’s a game that leads to a lot of running around the house while creating amazing stories and enjoying a ton of laughter doing so. It’s safe to say princesses, monsters and superheroes burns off a lot of energy! Not just for the kids, but Mommy too.

Personally, I prefer to use our wind down time to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and snuggles. Who am I kidding… I may also enjoy in a sweet treat too!

Oddly enough, Kinder has recently released limited addition Disney Princess and Marvel Superheroes Kinder Surprise Eggs.

Kinder is a brand that has developed a family name over the years. I enjoyed Kinder Surprise during my childhood, and now my children get to indulge in Kinder chocolate too.  What I love about Kinder is that their products are peanut-free and not too sweet. Each Kinder Egg supplies just the right amount of chocolate, and my children’s favourite part… the surprise!  They just never know what new toy they might end up with.

I take my children grocery shopping each week. Yes, I am that crazy Mom who actually enjoys grocery shopping with her kids. The kids are generally well-behaved. They may also be known to play monsters as we go up and down the aisles in the store too. This is the only point in time where my children will designate me as the superhero. My mission? To navigate the shopping cart away from the monster as we pick-up our weekly grocery items and make way to our “safe point”… The check out.

When we reach the check out, I almost always will treat them to a Kinder Surprise. Some may call it bribery. I simply like to look at it as a reward for good behaviour.

There is certainly no denying that whatever path our daily adventure may lead us on that my children and I have a lot of fun embarking on the journey! Building amazing memories every step of the way.
