“Saving on those last minute beauty, baby and personal care items just got easier for busy Torontonians with mobile shopping in bus shelters across Toronto. To help Torontonians with their weekly shop, Walmart Canada and Procter & Gamble (P&G) have launched a mobile store allowing Torontonians to shop online with their mobile device and ship items to their home for free.

Located in 50 bus shelters across Toronto, the mobile store, which runs for four weeks, provides a quick and easy way for Torontonians to purchase a variety of items online with Walmart in categories such as baby and beauty.” – Consumer Goods Technology

These virtual stores will be running until June 30, 2013.
In celebration of the launch of the Walmart and P&G virtual QR code-based stores, I received a $100 gift card to spend freely on Procter & Gamble products. I don’t travel into Toronto often, so unfortunately have not had the opportunity to experience one of the virtual stores. Rather I took to experiencing an online shopping experience with Walmart Canada. There is nothing quite like online retail therapy from the comfort of your own home!
I found the Walmart Canada website very user-friendly. It was easy to navigate through and search the website. Did you know that Walmart offers free shipping on the vast majority the products they sell online?!?   Most stores charge an arm and a leg for shipping, so I was in complete awe when I realized I wouldn’t have to dish out extra cash to have the products delivered straight to my door.
For my online shopping experience, I bought none other than products that would be great for the summer months.
CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation – This foundation is SPF20, and offers a complete, flawless coverage.

Olay Complete SPF30 Defense Daily UV Moisturizer (Sensitive Skin) – I have fair skin, which also happens to be very sensitive. For that reason I include Olay Complete SPF30 Defense Daily UV Moisturizer as a part of my daily regime. It moisturizes your skin while also keeping you protected from the harmful rays of the sun.

Old Spice Fresh Collection (Fiji) Antiperspirant – Let’s face it… Men just need a good antiperspirant in the summer (Heck – year round!). This is one of my favourite scents!

Pampers Cruisers – Our family is always on the go during the Summer. For that reason we always have to ensure we have a stock pile of diapers on hand. Pampers Cruisers are great for the little ones who are constantly on the move. They provide excellent coverage, and seldom do they leak.
Febreze NOTICEables (Dragon Fruit) – I constantly have an air freshener plugged in at home. I find it offers a welcoming ambiance. In the winter, I reach for Apple Cinnamon. In the summer, I reach for something a little more tropical (like Febreze NOTICEABLES – Dragon Fruit).

Pantene Curly Hair Satin Hold Hairspray – My hair is curly. During the summer months, it can be very hard to tame my unruly tresses. Pantene Curly Hair Satin Hold Hairspray helps battle the frizz and helps make my hair manageable.

Tide Pods Detergent – I don’t know about you, but we go through a lot of laundry during the Summer. I’m all for letting my kids explore, play and get dirty. Tide Pods makes it easy to quickly throw together a load of laundry. I also love the pods because it gives me the visual reference of how soon I will run out of detergent.
So there you have it my P&G product picks for Summer. What are some of your go-to P&G products during the Summer months?

Disclosure: I am a P&Gmom. As part of my affiliation with this group I receive products and special access to P&G events and opportunities. The opinions on this blog, as always, remain my own.
