Back in 2009, I learned of So Good Soy Milk. A Mom within one of my Mom’s groups had been using it as a milk substitute for her infant who was intolerant to cow’s milk. It wasn’t until recently, however, that I decided to pick up some So Good and try it out myself.

So Good is made from non-genetically modified soy protein. There is a monitoring process in place which controls each stage of the manufacturing process – from seed selection, to planting and harvesting, and transportation and processing. This process helps ensure that no genetically modified soy beans enter the supply stream.
So Good not only is a excellent substitute for those whom are lactose intolerant, but for vegans. So Good Soy Milk is 100% free of animal products. Not only that… the products are 100% gluten free!

So Good Soy Milk is a great milk alternative, which offers a great source of protein, and important minerals and vitamins.  It’s fortified with 15 essential vitamins and minerals including vitamins A, D2, B12 and riboflavin. So Good is a participant in Health CheckTM – a food information program developed by Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.

I quite enjoyed So Good Soy Milk. My favorite flavour being Vanilla. It made a delicious addition to coffee, tea, and breakfast cereals. I found that when using So Good Vanilla Milk in my tea that I didn’t find the need to add sugar or sweetener. The flavour of Vanilla So Good Soy Milk offered just the hint of sweetness that I needed. 
I also found a use for So Good Soy Milk when baking.  One of my go-to recipes that my children love is Banana Raisin Muffins.

Banana Raisin Muffins
Ingredients
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 mashed bananas
1/3 cup So Good Soy Milk – Vanilla
1/4 cup olive oil
1/3 cup raisins
Directions
1. Combine your dry ingredients.
2. Mix in your soy milk, olive oil and mashed banana.
3. Fold in the raisins.
4. Mix all ingredients well.
5. Preheat oven to 375. Line a greased muffin tray with muffin liners. 
6. Fill the muffin liners with 2/3 batter.
7. Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
