Dear wonderful and dedicated readers of Domesticated Momma,
It has been a great year, hasn’t it?!
I’m going to be taking the next few days off to enjoy the holidays with my family. It is going to be a bittersweet Christmas this year for me. My Nana passed away last week. I am going to take comfort in remembering her by continuing to live our family Christmas traditions that came to be because of her. It just won’t be the same not having her with us to enjoy the holidays. However, I’ll cling to the lifetime of memories and hold my family close over these next few days. I’m sure my Nana will be with us in spirit.
We’re kick starting the some of our annual Christmas traditions tonight by watching Miracle on 34th Street, as we track Santa via NORAD. It’s a tradition that I have been doing with my Nana since I was a little girl. It brings me so much joy to continue the tradition with my children.
How will you be spending Christmas?
I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas filled with lots of love, happiness, laughter and joy!
