I’m going to keep this post super short today. Usually I babble about the going’s on, but truthfully other than the holidays and my overindulgence… nothing else is new and happening!
This week’s meal plan, includes:
- Hot Turkey Sandwiches
- Koren BBQ Beef Burgers
- Homemade Turkey Soup
- Butter Chicken Pizza
This week I am also planning to consume a lot of Detox Salad. My immune system has gone down the crapper lately. Since October, I have had 4 colds and strep. Enough is enough. Between being sick and overindulging in sweets over the holidays… it is time to hop back on the bandwagon.
The Detox Salad was created by The Fit Housewife. It includes olive oil (1 tsp), black pepper (1/2 tsp), sea salt (1/4 tsp), 2 garlic cloves (minced), 1/2 cup tomatoes (halved), 1 avocado 2 naval oranges (I use clementines) and some sliced up red onion. For the full recipe, you can check out Jen’s blog. I found the Detox Salad to not only be healthy, but rejuvenating.
