During my childhood, I spent a lot of time in my bedroom playing with my dolls. Imaginary play was an activity that I thrived off of. I loved the independence it gave me.
A few weeks ago, my daughter started preschool. On her first day of school, I snapped a picture of her and asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up;  “A Mommy”, she gleefully chimed. I couldn’t help, but smile. At such a young age, she already shows some amazing maternal instincts. She loves to help out as much as she can when it comes to caring for her little brother. Not only that she is an amazing Mom to all her dolls.
My 3 year old daughter is very much the same as I was during my childhood. She loves to play house and doctor with all her dolls. She still has a baby monitor in her bedroom, so there are many occasions when she is in her room playing, and I can’t help but chuckle to myself as I listen to her parent her dolls. Kids really say the darndest things during free play.

Recently, we received a Baby Alive Baby All Better doll from the generous folks at Hasbro for my daughter to review.

The Baby Alive Baby All Better doll brings the best of both worlds together for my little girl. She really empowers Doctor Mom during her imaginative play with her Baby Alive. Baby Alive Baby All Better may feel a little under weather at the best of times, but with a little tender, love and care from her magnificent Doctor Mom she will be feeling better in know time.
My daughter takes her Baby Alive Baby All Better everywhere with her. She has even set up a little nursery for her within her bedroom. The Little Miss is so protective of her baby. If she notices her Baby Alive Baby All Better doll or any of her accessories missing, she sweats it. Usually if any of the accessories are missing, it means the Little Madam’s brother got his hands on it, which is a whole other issue.

The Baby Alive Baby All Better doll is perfect for children aged 3 and up. In addition to the doll, it comes packaged with a dress, diaper, thermometer, stethoscope, growth chart, baby bottle, spoon and bandages. Everything Doctor Mom would need to care for her sick baby.

This doll offers young children the opportunity for a diverse imaginative play experience. It really is the perfect toy for children when it comes to social and emotional development, and learning crucial life skills.

If you’re looking for the perfect doll to give as a Christmas present this year, check out the Baby Alive Baby All Better! You won’t be disappointed!

Looks like a fun doll. My little guy doesn’t have any dolls but he always plays with them at friends houses.

My little one is 2 1 /2 and the other day informed us she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She is constantly doctoring either me and her daddy or her baby dolls. This is a girl who has spent more than her share of time in doctor’s offices and hospital ERs. Luckily she still had a positive outlook on doctors (she actually has asked to go back to get another flu shot). She would love this doll 🙂

Aww, what a cute photo of your daughter and the Baby Alive doll! My daughter is now 6-years old and has a doll that she still loves. I have a photo of her at 18-months old “feeding” her doll for the first time.

I wish my girls loved dolls like that. I did when I was a child. I love how they nurture the babies & talk to them. So very sweet!

My youngest daughter is now asking for this doll. I’ve always loved how little girls instinctively want to be a mommy.

    Very sweet picture.

This brings back memories. I had a Baby Alive when I was young. I like the ‘all better’ aspect they’ve added to his doll’s accessories.

Oh Nicole she looks so cute with her baby. She is so adorable. I never had dolls growing up. Wish I had. All I had was a cabbage patch.
