For those who know me well… they are no strangers to the fact that my family and I are a bunch of Boston Pizza groupies. Heck some might even call us “Boston Pizza royalty”. We are a family that enjoys our pizza. We used to order in every Friday, but while we were in the process of selling our house this past May we got into the habit of visiting our local Boston Pizza every Friday for dinner. It was a great way for my husband and I to date with the kids in our company. Boston Pizza has the perfect ambiance for any family. The restaurant is casual, affordable, fun and kid friendly. Restaurants like these speak to me.
This past weekend, I attended a lunch at Boston Pizza as a brand ambassador for the brand new kids program. It was a chance for my family and I to check out the new kids menu and learn more about the Boston Pizza’s initiatives.
Upon being seated in our booth, our children discovered a pizza box of goodies. Goodies that managed to keep the munchkins entertained for a short period of time while I interacted with some fellow bloggers and ordered lunch.
Shortly before lunch, Lionel (the Boston Pizza mascot) made an appearance. The kids were so dazzled in excitement. All except for my little princess who loved Lionel from afar, but close-up not so much. Hence, the picture (below) of my son, husband, Lionel and I. My daughter was in the booth with her back turned to us. Sweet girl.
I was amazed by the new Boston Pizza kids menu. There are over 8 meals to choose from. There is a meal to suit the taste of any picky child. Trust me, I know! I have picky kids. Each meal comes with a drink and choice of dessert. The kids meals cost a total of $6.99 (plus applicable taxes).
Not only that Boston Pizza recently updated their main menu. They may have removed my favorite pizza — Spicy Garlic Chicken Pizza (also known as Szechuan), but they’ve added yummy alternatives like Pulled Pork Pizza and Buffalo Chicken Pizza. There are 26 new menu items in total. Amazing.
Our meal was delicious as always. My daughter had her usual pepperoni pizza. I convinced my son to try something different for a change. He had the Bugs’n’Cheese, which he gobbled right up. Following lunch, the kids enjoyed a delicious chocolate pizza. While I overindulged by sampling the brand new S’mores Pizza and Panookie. The extra calories were something that I totally didn’t need to consume, but the desserts were so worth every scrumptious bite!
I loved seeing so many new and familiar faces at Boston Pizza enjoying lunch with their families. It was a great opportunity to rave, connect and share in a fabulous experience.
Here’s your chance to win a Boston Pizza kids card worth $35.00. It includes 5 free kids meals for kids 10 years and under (each meal is redeemable with a $14 adult purchase from the main Boston Pizza menu). Giveaway only open to Canadian residents.
