Christmas is t-minus 5 weeks away. Have you finished your Christmas shopping yet? If you’re like me you haven’t even started yet. I haven’t always been the type of person to put Christmas shopping on the back burner. I used to be one of those avid shoppers that would have all gifts bought and wrapped by mid-November… and then kids entered the picture.
These days my mind is such mush when it comes to figuring out what to get others for Christmas. I have many of “those” people on my shopping list. You know the ones who have practically everything, which makes picking out that “perfect” gift that much harder. I love purchasing sentimental gifts; Gifts that people would normally never even think of asking for. You know the gifts that go a long way and make someone’s life a tad bit easier or at the very least give the recipient piece of mind.
I can’t complain too much about “those” people though because suffice to say I’m one of “them”. People ask me what I want for Christmas and I choke. I rack my brain for days. It’s a total thought process that probably provokes a little too much thought than necessary.
What do I really want for Christmas this year?
What I tell you might come as a surprise, but I would love a CAA Membership. A CAA membership is quite appealing to me and I think would make a wonderful gift. Let’s face it – I’m a stay-at-home Mom and my husband works quite a ways from the home. One of my biggest fears (while it may be irrational) is being locked out of the car while the children are inside… Is it likely to happen? No, BUT never say never. It very well could. I have also had many occasions where my car battery has died while I’m running errands. Luckily the kids have never been with me when it has happened, but it could happen at any time. The roadside assistance coverage that comes with a CAA membership really appeals to me. What Mom doesn’t want to be given piece of mind? There’s nothing I would want more.
I think something that most individuals don’t realize is that a CAA membership is so much more than just roadside assistance coverage. There are many additional perks and incentives to a membership, including discounts on:
- home & car insurance,
- hotels & travel , and…
- shopping, entertainment & attractions.
A CAA membership costs a low fee of $67* for the year. If you purchase a CAA gift membership prior to January 31, 2013, you’ll receive two trunk organizers for free!**
A CAA membership is truly a Christmas present that gives all year long. While I’m hoping Santa brings me the gift of a CAA membership. I can honestly say I know what I’ll be purchasing many of the adults on my list this holiday season!
