Lately it seems to be that the new in alcoholic beverage of choice is beer cocktails.

In September, I was introduced you to The Sour 67. Since then beer cocktails seem to have taken off. As we speak, I’m sipping a Bud Light Lime Mojito. Different, but not all that bad. It’s nice for a change.

I came across a recipe for Beergaritas while surfing Pinterest this week. Perfect timing for Father’s Day! I know I’ll be making a pitcher or two for my hubby and our Dad’s to enjoy at our Father’s Day BBQ.

Beergarita
Ingredients
1 can (12 oz) frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
1 cup tequila
1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur
2 bottles (12 oz each) light-colored beer
Crushed ice
8 lime slices

Directions
In a pitcher combine the limeade, tequila and orange liqueur. Stir well.

Pour the beer into the pitcher, stir.

Serve in a lowball glass over ice.

Cheers!

We had something similar at Lonestar, our fav restaurant! Surprisingly they were quite yummy and refreshing!
