People will be seeing green on Saturday for St. Patrick’s Day. Are you planning to celebrate the occasion?
I know the Irish blood in me will be yearning to sip a green bevvie or too.

Here are some fabulous non-alcoholic green drinks to treat yourself to. A fresh twist on the traditional green beer or Irish coffee.

Basil Lemonade
2 cups basil lemon syrup
2 cups cold water
2 cups ice cubes
1 1/4 cups fresh lemon juice

Garnish: fresh basil sprigs; lemon zest strips

Irish Rose
A simple easy non-alcoholic version of an Irish Rose.
Ingredients:
* 1 ounce of lemon juice
* 1 ounce of cherry juice
* 3 ounces of soda water
Directions:
Mix the ingredients and pour over ice. Stir. Make it pretty with a cherry or a twist of lemon. Make the drink sweeter by using a lemon-lime soda, such as Sprite or 7-Up.
