We’ve had a very peculiar winter.
Winter? Would you even call it that?! We barely saw any snow accumulation. Just a few snow storms. Nothing major. The temperatures were quite mild. Funny considering in November of 2011 meteorologists forecasted that this winter would be quite cold.
March came in like a lion. We felt old man winter’s wrath. Strong windows, snow, sleet. Who could forget it?! Many were thrown off when the temperatures steadily began to rise mid-March. Temperatures became spring-like. Everyone rejoiced. Patio season was around the corner. Little did anyone anticipate patio season to kickoff on St. Patty’s Day!
Summer in March?
Seems almost unheard of. I don’t recall it ever being this warm in March. Heck today, I’m walking around in capris, a tank top and flip flops. I’m loving this. I’m a total summer girl! I dig the warm temperatures and the outdoors. My children are loving it too. They haven’t been happier! We’ve gotten out a lot more recently for walks, bike rides, field trips to Maple Fest and the park. It’s been amazing.
It’s safe to say March is going out like the lamb.
