The mild temperatures have returned. So has BBQ season. Hallelujah! Spring and Summer tend to be two of my favorite seasons. Not because the flowers are blooming, birds are chirping and the days are warmer. Rather, it means that I can count on my husband assisting with the cooking. My husband isn’t handy in the kitchen. His in-kitchen masterpiece is mince and potatoes. He’s all about the barbecue, which is a-okay. I love to cook! The kitchen is my domain. I’m protective of it. No seriously, I am. Just from time to time I love a break of the same old, same old. Who doesn’t?!?
I will be receiving that break this week. We’re heading back to the basics with the meal plan. The nice weather has the kids and I outdoors. Less time in the house and time to plan dinner.

- Steak w/ Baked Potato and Mixed Greens
