I’m down 20lbs since Christmas. 4lbs away from my next mini goal!!!
The number glistening back at me on the scale is one I haven’t seen in over 4 years. I can’t help but celebrate every little bit of the way.
In November, I wrote a post “25 Reason WHY I Want to Stay Fit“. It was my mental motivation and it continues to be. If you’re on this fitness journey with me, I urge you to write a similar list and reflect on it if you’re ever having an off day.
I also want to thank my readers. You’ve been some of my biggest cheerleaders and motivators during this journey. I wouldn’t have been able to push through without your support.
This saying couldn’t be more true. In the first 4 weeks, I went from feeling like giving up. I didn’t. Giving up would have meant having to start over. Who really wants to start over?! Nobody! I stuck it out. I pushed myself harder than I ever have before. It wasn’t easy. By 8 weeks, I started noticing change and my family is too. I swore I’d never wear a bikini again… I’ll be rocking one in Cancun in a few short weeks. Eek! Wow. It’s amazing the results that can come from determination. I feel so strong and so empowered. I really, really do.
