While my baby will always be my baby… he is no longer a baby anymore. He started toddling around this week. He took his first unassisted steps in January. This week, he decided to be more of a daredevil and test his limits. On Tuesday, he walked across our family room to our kitchen. I sat on the couch. My eyes welled up with tears as I tried to contain my excitement. I wanted so badly to jump up and down and squeal about how proud I was of him, but I resisted.

So now that I know he totally knows how to walk, I wonder how long it will take for him to stop resorting to the faster mode of travel… ahem… crawling.

Wah – my little boy is growing up far too fast!

    Hi Nicole,

    Nice to “e-meet” you 🙂

We love your blog and your son is really cute. Walking is a big deal so I can only imagine how excited he is. I love how cute babies look when they try to take their first steps.

I wanted to connect with you and ask if you are interested in joining our blogger outreach program for Pampers. We are working on lots of new exciting projects and would love to get you involved. If you’d be interested, please contact me at nina.kalos@citizenrelations.com

Looking forward to hearing from you,
    Nina
