Who doesn’t need a little motivation? We all do. Maybe not always, but for the most part.
My husband and I had a conversation on the weekend with regards to motivation. One of my goals for 2012 is to be active, stay fit and get healthy. Sounds easy enough?! It is… when you have the right amount of support. Support has been lacking around our house. I’ll hit a milestone in my fitness regimen. As opposed to a “Way to go!” or “See babe, I told you you could do it”… I get an “Oh, that’s nice!”. Oh, that’s nice? Really?! What the eff is that?! Did you not hear me say I lost 8lbs since Christmas? It’s like I’m talking to a wall. I need my team player… my partner in crime to cheer me on. After all my husband should be my biggest fan… right?!?
This morning while doing my daily blog hop, I came across Sober Julie’s Motivated Monday. As I read Julie’s post, I felt inspired. I felt like someone could relate to how I was feeling and what I wanted to achieve. I loved the concept behind her Motivated Monday posts. It’s a great way to share your milestones, struggles and receive that push to remain accountable.
I’m going to take one from Julie’s book and write a Motivated Monday wrap up each week. I’m all for making changes. Living a healthier lifestyle. Being happier. I want to love the life I live and live the life I love! I’m going to do just that and own it!
