Rice Krispie Squares are pretty popular snack around our household. We make them year around. What I love about the recipe is how versatile it is. You can make so many unique different snacks out of rice krispie squares.

Just last year I made a holiday tree with momstown Whitby-Ajax. Funnily enough… it was also my first time making rice krispie squares.

Rice Krispie Squares are very easy to make and only require 3 key ingredients:

  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 3 tablespoons margarine
Melt the margarine in a pan. Stir in the marshmallows. Stir over medium heat and melt marshmallows. Once melted and smooth. Combine Rice Krispies cereal and melted marshmallows in a bowl. Mix well. Add to a 9×13 pan and smooth out. Let set.
