Wow – it’s here! The final day of the 30 day blog challenge. That arrived a heck of a lot faster than I had anticipated.

I’m not one for setting New Years resolutions. Never have been. I find I’ll make a resolution and will quickly fall off track. It’s just not my think. It doesn’t have enough motivational pull to lure me in and keep me on the hook.

Goals on the other hand I find easy to achieve. It’s just simple little things that keep you on the right track.

In the next 30 days… 

I’d like to work towards maintaining a healthier lifestyle. Cut out the junk food diet. Start a regular work out routine. I want to find time to focus on me and not on who everyone else wants me to be. I want to feel happier and look better. I’ve been sick for the past 3 weeks, so I know now is a better time than ever to take a stance and start taking care of myself. It’s time to listen to my body.

I plan to start potty training my daughter. We had started a few months ago and I fell off track. I was determined that she wasn’t ready. Meanwhile I’m sure it was more that I didn’t want my baby to grow up. I know deep down she is ready. She can do this. She will do this. After Christmas is said and done, we’ll be hardcore potty training. It’s a better time than ever.

I’m going to make a bigger effort with my kids. I’m a stay-at-home Mom. I love spending time with my children, but quite often I find I get preoccupied in the everyday stuff. I end up putting them on the back burner or telling them that we can do whatever it is that they’re doing another time. Enough of that. They’re going to come first and foremost!
