Menu plan? What is that again? Apparently my mind went completely off course last week. The menu I had planned out went awry. I started menu planning in August. Keeping it up this long and barely falling of track is something. We all slip up. Life happens. Last week was just one of those weeks.
After a relaxing weekend, I’m back on track. At least I hope to be.
Over the weekend I pulled out my Great Grandmother’s personal recipe collection. I’m so honoured that she passed this down to me. I spent many summers visiting with my Nannie. We are very close. She is an inspiration to me, and she has taught me a lot about myself. She helped me discover my love for cooking. Some of the meals I’ve chosen for this week are her old recipes. I’m just planning to tweak them a bit. Hopefully they turn out.

Tuesday: Ravioli Lasagna
Wednesday: Chili con Carne
Thursday: BBQ Beef with Rice
Saturday: Brother-in-Law’s birthday. Out for dinner.
Sunday: Buffalo Chicken Pizza
