At just 3 months of age, “C” cut her two bottom incisor teeth. Now 4 months later, she has just cut two more teeth, and has two more not far behind. Ever since the most recent two teeth have broken through though, “C” has taken to grinding her bottom incisor teeth against the top (new) tooth. She actually forced that tooth through by knawing on her top jaw. Let’s just say that caused for a bloody mess (literally)! Ever since then I can’t get her to knix her grinding habits… It’s such a sickening sound. I really hope she breaks the habit soon because I have no clue how to get her too. I’ve tried teethers and cold frozen cloths. She won’t even so much as open her mouth when they come near her.
